We will contact your PCA or Family Member with the required information for a complimentary registration (limit one comp per attendee).
  • Individuals with Paralysis: If you are paralyzed by injury or disease, we offer a 50% discount. Please email - prior to registering - verifying your status (e.g. "I have a C5/6 SCI, and was injured in 1997 ..."). We will respond with instructions on how to take advantage of the discount.
  • Students: If you are attending a college or university, we offer students a 50% discount. Please email - prior to registering - verifying your student status (the name of your school and an attached photo of your student ID), and we will respond with information on how to register as a student.
  • Travel Grants: We provide Travel Grants to individuals with paralysis in need of financial assistance. Special thanks to the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation & Global Technology Services for helping to underwrite this program. Apply Here!

Thanks to a special grant from the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation, U2FP is proud to offer several accessibility accommodations for our attendees. This will include an American Sign Language certified interpreter working on-site for our in-person attendees, as well as closed captioning for our livestream attendees. Additionally, we have designed an interactive program (a hybrid print/digital format) that we believe will be a more accessible and convenient way for all attendees to access key information. We have also asked our presenters to take measures to make their presentations more accessible, with recommendations compiled from the United Nations Disability-Inclusive Communications Guidelines, the American Anthropological Association Virtual Presentation Accessibility Guidelines, and the World Wide Web Association Web Accessibility Initiative.

If you need an additional accommodation to fully participate, please email Lucia Webb (
