My cousin, Geoff Kent, started a marathon team with his nonprofit, SCIS, years ago, to raise money for SCI research. He has since asked U2FP to takeover the marathon team. This will be my 4th Chicago Marathon raising funds for SCI research. I'm very excited to run Chicago again and share the experience with my son and wife. I'm also looking forward to a Chicago Style Hot Dog from Al’s Italian Beef after the race!

Unite 2 Fight Paralysis is proud to be an official charity team for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon in 2018. Team U2FP is a group of passionate, hard working runners and wheelchair racers committed to racing the 26.2 miles and fundraising to advance research towards a cure for spinal cord injury.
The team raised over $105,000 in the past three years. All funds directly support our mission: to cure paralysis through advocacy, education, and support for research. Thank you for your support!
