In a few sentences, describe your connection to U2FP, why you chose to run in support of U2FP, and whether you have a personal connection to spinal cord injury and paralysis:

My friend and I started running together for the NYC marathon and her father was paralyzed from the waist down in a car accident. I got to know his story as we were training together. He was there when we finished despite his disability, and we decided this was a meaningful and special way to continue our marathon journey together.

Is this your first marathon/race? If not, what others have you completed? No! TCS NYC Marathon in 2023 was my first one!
 

What do you crave after a long run? A whole wheat bagel with lox, scallion cream cheese, and tomato!

Do you listen to anything when you train or race? If yes, what? Big booty mix always keeps me motivated but for most of my long runs I talk with others I am running with. It keeps my pace sustainable and passes the time so quickly!

What are you most excited and/or nervous about for the marathon? I am most excited to run through all parts of the city. My sister used to live in Chicago, but have never ventured outside the main downtown area and to have my family and friends fly in to support the race and the cause.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I am a huge foodie, I love trying new restaurants all across the city and I am also currently a part time MBA student so I spend a lot of my free time studying.
