In a few sentences, describe your connection to U2FP, why you chose to run in support of U2FP, and whether you have a personal connection to spinal cord injury and paralysis:

I’ve chosen to run for Unite 2 Fight Paralysis because of the inspirational stories I see every day at work. As an exercise specialist for people with spinal cord injuries, I’ve seen first-hand what exercise can do to help both physically and mentally. I’m excited to support a cause to further improve outcomes for the SCI population!

Is this your first marathon/race? If not, what others have you completed? I’ve run Ragnar MN in the past. This is my first distance race. I’m not used to running more than 5-6 miles at a time, so it’ll be challenging for me.

What do you crave after a long race? Ice water. Nothing sweeter than some bone-chilling water after a run.

Do you listen to anything when you train or race? If yes, what? Yes, I like to listen to pop and rock playlists with music from the mid-2000’s to the mid-2010’s.

What are you most excited and/or nervous about for the TC10? Excited to finish the race! Not excited for any big uphill sections of the course.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Spending time with my partner and our dog, a shih-poo mix named Kino.
