In a few sentences, describe your connection to U2FP, why you chose to run in support of U2FP, and/or whether you have a personal connection to spinal cord injury and paralysis: I was informed about this organization & opportunity through a fellow USAFA alumni, and I am honored to be able to run in support of such a fabulous organization! I served in the US Air Force, and know many military members affected by SCIs.

Is this your first marathon/race? If not, what others have you completed? Not my first; I have completed the Charleston Marathon & Nashville Country Music Rock n' Roll Marathon

What do you crave after a long run? Chocolate milk or an iced chai tea latte

Do you listen to anything when you train or race? If yes, what? Yes, music (all kinds!)

What are you most excited and/or nervous about for the marathon? I really want to break the 4 hour mark! Nervous about getting injured during training.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Going to the beach, spending time w/ my family, running with or walking my chocolate lab

Anything else you’d like to share? I am an Air Force combat veteran, running kept me sane on my deployment overseas. I know many military members with SCIs and I am honored to run for and represent this organization!
