In a few sentences, tell us about the course you've chosen or designed for this year's Run-Walk-Roll event: I have a recumbent trike which I am able to pedal with my feet, so my initial thoughts were to use it to ride a half marathon over the three days for the Run-Walk-Roll challenge. However I know that overusing my legs exacerbates my neuropathic pain so I went to plan B. I have a high speed electric scooter which I use to accompany my wife when she runs. I thought it would be quite a doable challenge to complete a half marathon on the scooter in under an hour given a suitable location. We have a municipal park near us with a nice network of trails for walking and biking. Part of the trail system forms a loop of about 2.25 miles so I plan to do about 6 laps of that circuit.

What is your goal time for that distance? <1 Hour
Describe your connection to U2FP, why you chose to run in support of U2FP, and your personal connection to the spinal cord injury and paralysis community: I had a C4/5 SCI in 2005. I have worked with U2FP for 4 years and helped advocate for the $3M Ohio state funding for research.
What do you crave after training? A cure for Neuropathic Pain, or failing that...a beer!
Do you listen to anything when you train? Like to listen to the sounds of nature
What makes you nervous or excited about the Run-Walk-Roll? Will I tip over my high speed electric scooter on the corners?
Fun Facts - tell us something unique or interesting about you? I could fly a plane before I could legally drive a car.
