In a few sentences, describe your connection to U2FP, why you chose to run in support of U2FP, and whether you have a personal connection to spinal cord injury and paralysis: My brother, Dr. Peter J. Grahn, does research on SCI patients and he himself has a SCI. When I run, I often think about him for motivation to just keep moving. Running for U2FP will be an honor and will give me even more motivation to complete the race. Peter's wife, Kelsey, and his colleague, Dr. Kristin Zhao are also running the race in support of U2FP. I am looking forward to celebrating with them at the finish line.

Is this your first marathon/race? If not, what others have you completed? I have run a few 5k races over the years but nothing consistently.

What do you crave after a long run? A shower.

Do you listen to anything when you train or race? If yes, what? Yes, I listen to lots of music. Sometimes it is music to calm me and think inwardly as a run and sometimes it's music to just motivate me to "move it, move it". I also listen to audible books and podcasts from time to time.

What are you most excited and/or nervous about for the race? I am excited to experience the race with all the other runners and cheering fans along the way. I am super nervous about being the slowest person in the race and/or not even completing it.

What is an interesting or unique fact about yourself (or anything else you’d like to share)? My sister, Mary, and I have a vlog on Youtube where we entertain our vast numbers of fans...the 10s of 10s of people that subscribe. We also do music gigs for weddings and funerals. We made business cards for our services. We are called Music Staff and our slogan is "We marry 'em and bury 'em."
